Sandy Anderson, RN
FOUNDER
I’ve been a nurse for over 15 years and currently work part-time as a Critical Care Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Kaiser. My background includes a variety of specialties, as well as teaching in the LVN program at Santa Rosa Junior College—an experience that deepened my passion for education in both patient care and aesthetics.
Before nursing, I worked in cosmetic dentistry, where I developed a strong eye for detail, facial balance, and symmetry, skills that naturally led me into aesthetic medicine.
For over 10 years, I’ve specialized in neurotoxins and dermal fillers, focusing on natural, balanced results. I’m also passionate about medical weight loss management, using semaglutide and tirzepatide to help clients achieve sustainable, healthy outcomes.
Bharat Kothakota, MD
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Bharat Kothakota is a board-certified Emergency Physician with over a decade of clinical experience and advanced training in aesthetic medicine. He has trained with leading industry brands including Allergan and Galderma, with expertise in injectables, PRF, microneedling, and energy-based treatments such as Morpheus8 and Lumecca IPL.
As the owner and Medical Director of a successful medical spa in Santa Monica, he is known for delivering natural, results-driven outcomes. At Aesthetics & Wellness by Sandy, Dr. Kothakota provides medical oversight to ensure every treatment is performed with the highest standards of safety and care.
